What’s removed in Atlas OS?
It’s important to remember that Atlas is oriented around gaming, so many things not needed for it may be removed. The following components and features are removed in Atlas:
- TPM (Trusted Platform Module)
- Windows Defender
- Storage Spaces
- eMMC Drives
- RAID Disk Configurations
- BitLocker
- Biometrics (Face Recognition/Fingerprint)
- Voice Recognition
- Restore Points & System Reset
Unsupported Software/Features:
- Alternate Languages, due to a Windows Bug. With luck you may be able to install a different language.
- WSLv2 – Requires Hyper-V, v1 is supported
- Phasmophobia – Requires Speech Recognition Fixed in latest versions
- Modern Flyouts
- Projecting
- Oculus Software Check Here
- Cracked Software – In the event they do not work, there will be no support.
- Cheating Software – In the event they do not work, there will be no support.

How do I check if my storage is GPT?
- On your keyboard do WINDOWS KEY + R, when the run box is open, type “diskmgmt.msc” and then disk management will open.
- Locate your disk at the bottom, right-click on your desired drive and press properties.
- When the box opens, go to “Volumes” at the top, and you will see “Partition Style” and if it says GPT then you’re good to go. If not you will need to convert it to GPT for the installation.

Windows Features is not working!
You can use dism to disable features instead:
- Open Command Prompt as Admisitrator
- To disable Internet Explorer run: dism /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Internet-Explorer-Optional-amd64 /norestart
- To disable Windows Media Player: dism /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:WindowsMediaPlayer /norestart
You can disable other features by running: dism /Online /Get-Features /Format:Table | Find “Enabled” Then adding the name in front of /FeatureName: in this command: dism /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:NAMEHERE /norestart with your whatever desired feature you would like to remove.
To enable, simply do /Enable-Feature instead.
Store/Spotify fail to connect
This is caused by the Wi-Fi Disable script disabling services that are used for connection checking. To fix this:
- Open the Atlas folder on your desktop.
- Navigate to the “Configuration” folder where the “Wi-Fi” folder can be found.
- Enable Wi-Fi and reboot.
